During Queen Elizabeth’s church service, King Charles’s staff is told they are being laid off

After Queen Elizabeth II died, King Charles was officially made the new ruler of the United Kingdom. Several members of the royal family have recently taken on new jobs, which means that their royal homes will move. A recent story says that many people who worked for King Charles III when he was the Prince of Wales at the royal palace Clarence House may have been told they could lose their jobs because of the same thing.

The former Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will get new jobs, and their office will move to Buckingham Palace, according to The Guardian. The newspaper also said that a few staff members at the royal house in Westminster had been given notices of dismissal. After getting the messages, the staff members were said to be “livid.”

According to the report, it has been said that this is what happens every time a member of the royal family gets a new job. A spokeswoman for Clarence House also told The Guardian, “Our workers have been with us for a long time and have been very loyal. We will have to let some of them go, but we are working quickly to find new jobs for the majority of our staff.”

No one knows yet when King Charles will move to Buckingham Palace. Now, plans are being made for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. King Charles will go from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on Wednesday. His brothers and sons, Harry and William, will go with him.
