Meghan Markle talks about her relationship with the royal family and says, “It’s really important to forgive.”

Meghan Markle recently gave a shocking interview to The Cut. In it, she talked about how she and Prince Harry have been getting along with the royal family since they left the UK. The Duchess of Sussex said that she and Prince Harry are still “recovering” from their time with the royal family, but she was hopeful that they would be able to move on in the future.

Markle talked to The Cut about forgiving other people and letting go of the past. Also, she said, “I think it’s important to forgive. It takes a lot more effort to stay angry. But it takes a lot of work to forgive someone. Considering that I can say whatever I want, I have really made an effort. I’m always talking till I’m not. So, what do you think? People say that sometimes the melody goes on after the silence.”

The Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey about her experiences with the royal family in an honest way. Markle was honest in that interview about how the Duke of Sussex’s money was cut off, how his family’s security detail was taken away, and how his father, Prince Charles, stopped talking to him.

Markle recently talked about how her podcast allowed her to be the “real” her. In the first video of her podcast, she says, “People should expect to see the real me in this, maybe the me they’ve never seen before. Certainly not in the last few years, when the media has changed everything. Instead of saying “Hi, it’s me.” To put it simply, I can’t wait to be myself, speak my mind, and have fun.”
